Last week I had the wonderful experience of visiting South Fork Ranch. Our driver shared some of the history of the TV show and some stories from the stars. As we approached the final destination I felt goosebumps seeing the iconic home of the fictional Ewing family and the famous Southfork gates. Our guide in the house shared some fantastic stories about the history behind the mansion and crazy times when the location of the building was first shared. The inside of the home was not at all like the set seen in the show. However, the outside obviously was. Wandering around on the same land some of TVs greatest characters had trod, was phenomenal. Being able to take a seat on the original furniture around the outside was special too. Memories made. Big thanks to Paul for allowing the flying of my football team, Ipswich Town’s flag at the end of the experience, cheers!

The ranch and tour were great for fans of Dallas. Unfortunately the drive there and back from Dallas was not so great. The driver was nice, but doing at least 90mph and swerving in and out of traffic. Almost hit a car, and a pedestrian. All 4 of us onboard felt unsafe.
