Known around the world as the home of NASA Mission Control, International Space Station Mission Control and astronaut training, guests are taken behind the scenes to see NASA Johnson Space Center.

充実の展示でした。開館から閉館まで1日見てました。まだビデオなど見きれていません。入場料に含まれるツアーに参加して初めてこの価値が出ます。 WhiteとBlueのツアーに参加できるように、受付かアプリで予約してください。日曜日で混んでいましたが、頻繁にアプリをチェックしてRed TourのMission control centerのキャンセルが出たのか、予約が取れて見学ができました。 Blue Tourでは宇宙飛行士の訓練施設とサターンVロケットの施設が見学できます。 Redはロケット見学だけなのでBlueに参加すれば不要です。人によって評価は違いますが、映画でたびたび出てくるMission Control Center、Space Vehicle Mock-up facility を間近で見られたことはわざわざここまで出向いた価値あるものでした。 Astronauts are not alone、と展示されているように、まさにこの場所での懸命の努力がアポロ13号の帰還を果たせたものであり、この場所で働く人々が苦難を乗り越えた感動や仲間たちの犠牲を直視しながらも、感情に流されずそれぞれのミッションをこなしてきた現場です。そのほかのスペースシャトル運搬飛行機やアルテミス計画等の室内展示も素晴らしい。一見子供向けのようにも見れますが、その裏にある挑戦者たちの気概と実績と未来を感じてください！
