If the Governor won’t let ten people in a bar, I have a hard time understanding how this attraction is open. It took us about 15-25 minutes from the time we entered until the time we got to the top of the Space Needle. During that time, we were standing in line inside, right next to people, not socially distancing. There were about 12 people on the elevator ride up. They instructed us not to talk during the ride, but still it was close quarters. Then there were a lot—I mean a lot—of people milling about at the top. The ride down was the same close quarters and the gift shop was packed. When we made a purchase at the gift shop they were suddenly Covid aware—they had me scan my own purchase, insert payment and bag my purchase all the while the cashier was behind thick plexiglass. While the view from the top of the Space Needle was fun—during the ten minutes we were up there—it wasn’t worth the other 45 minutes of being shoulder to shoulder with other people, which I would have found annoying even if we were not just coming out of a pandemic

The space needle is very busy allow plenty of time for this activity.beautiful views from the top.chihuly gardens is very pretty and different.we only spent like 30 mins there.

Second time to each of these attractions and still amazed. The gardens were as beautiful as ever-different lighting makes it a different experience each time. The renovations to the Space Needle were awesome-love the all glass partitions and flooring-made the viewing and photos the best. Please do not skip these two attractions- they are worth the money saved when combining them.
