Went to the top of the space needle and after went to Chihuly! Both were very cool! Space needle view was incredible. We also had a great day- I can imagine on a crappy day with lots of fog and overcast that the view wouldn't be as good. We had a drink at the top and then headed back down after some photos. Chihuly was a super cool photo experience. I wouldn't bring kids, more interesting for adults. Fun for photos but can be done very quickly. Took about an 2 hours for both so it's pretty quick.

If you wish to visit both these attraction, do not prepay as you can get a Visit Seattle Pass/See Seattle when you are in Seattle which include these attractions and 2 others for a lower cost. I had a great time checking them out. I spent about 2 hours just checking out the bird eyes view of Seattle, I was on my own and there were photo stops which will take photos for you by scanning your ticket. I actually went around twice just it case it did not turn out. The lower deck is the clear glass floor which was a bit unnerving initially but you get used to it. You need to walk around and enjoy looking down between your feet. There were a spot near the stairs that you could climb in and lie down and get someone to take a photo for you. It looks like you were flying in the air. I enjoy a cuppa there leisurely taking in the view. When I had enough I went down to the ground floor and they were doing the virtual buggy jump which I participated. It was cool and it was so real that some of my family thought it was real. Next I head off to Chihuly Garden and glass. I am amazed the way Chihuly managed to captured all the different colours in glass. His work were brilliant. You need to sit though the videos of what he did and how he assemble them for his exhibitions in different countries. The garden glass flowers looks like part of nature. It was sad that he lost one of his eye but that did not stop him from being an artist. This was definitely one of my highlight in Seattle.

Went to same attraction in Vancouver and it was cheaper, more organized and we did not have to wait in an overpriced tourist trap. The Chihuly Garden had a lot of interesting glass and looked like countless hours of work to create the pieces in the collection
