The Space Needle was a hit. We brought some friends with us and they were not to excited to go up the needle. As it turned out they loved it. The rotating glass floor takes some getting used to. Funny to see all the people walking gingerly on as if it might break, views were super from up there. Special tip, use your camera in Panama a mode to take a picture of people and you can get the entire needle in the picture and a close up of your subjects.

We bought the city pass and got to actually go up the needle twice. Once in afternoon and then retuned after 5:00 for evening visit. Both were fantastic. Love the glass rails upstairs and the glass revolving floor below was mind blowing. Highly recommend this to everyone.

You can’t visit Seattle without visiting the Space Needle but the Chihuly Garden was an unexpected pleasure. I loved the outside gardens with glass sculpture accents. Found out my husband isn’t so keen on heights.
