Make sure you book ahead for a time to enter the line at the Space Needle. Once in line it takes just over an hour to get to the top. Once you get to the top you can spend as much time as you like. Best part of our day was drinks in the cafe and people watching. We lucked out and got to see Rainier pop out of the clouds in the late afternoon. Do Chihuly Glass first. You can see that in less than an hour. It's really not worth the price to take a few pictures of glass sculptures that you'll never look at again. Check website for events calendar as glass house is sometimes closed.

We couldn’t come to Seattle without seeing the Space Needle but we were pleasantly surprised by the Chihuly Garden and the Glass combination. The garden was probably our favorite part

We were shocked by the price you have to pay for one visit to the Space Needle. Nevertheless we decided to go up as we don't know if we'll get another chance for that. We went up for the sunset on a nice day and it was beautiful. I'm afraid of heights but had little to no problems stepping on to the glass floor which honestly was not that spectacular. I was more afraid on the upper floor where the glass walls are leaning outward and leave spacing between them. All in all you have to decide for yourself if it's worth the money. I'd recommend watching the weather forecast and going up for sunset though, and consider the combitickets for saving a little money.
