It was fun looking out over Seattle through the sparkling clean windows of the Space Needle on a clear day. Glass benches tilting backwards toward the glass was a bit unsettling to me at first, but at last I leaned against the glass wall and relaxed. Chihuly Gardens is fabulous!!! Take time to watch all of the documentaries about how he creates his work; you will appreciate it even more, knowing how much effort and skill went into each creation.

Chihuly museum is amazing with indoor huge display rooms like no other, then seeing like pieces outdoors among beautiful plants adds another dimension -- took pictures from glass house looking up at space needle and at end of day returned for sunset at needle and took pictures through floor of glass house below -- in between took monorail downtown and walked to Pike's Market -- with incredible Seattle underground tour in there for great 1 day experience!

If you come to Seattle, this is a mandatory visit. Super fan, easy to go, and very enjoyable. We used the City Pass to go in, and in my opinion is the best option. It worked great, we had to wait less than 5 minutes for the elevator to go up. Great views, cafeteria and cool environment up there. The elevator guy gave us a little bit of history while going up. It was perfect 👌.
