Had been several years since we went to the Space Needle and this time was even better than the last. The glass floor and outside glass partitions are an absolute must if you ever go. Walking out on the glass floor will definitely give you a heart check. Great time and fun

I loved the view from the space needle's observation deck! And the Chihuly exhibit was totally amazing! All kinds of colors, shapes and forms. So many gorgeous things to look at that I had sensory overload!

Arriving by Monorail to the base area of the Space Needle, we got tickets and proceeded to the top of the Needle through the gift shop. Being handicapped we were able to access the special elevator with no waiting. Arriving on the observation deck I was able to use the special stairs that turn into a small lift by attentive personnel. The views were great that day as the weather was perfect and even had a good view of Mt. Rainer. We then went to the revolving floor level, but that was too crowded with people sitting and crawling over the area. Not fun. After returning to the ground floor we went to the Chihuly exhibit of gorgeous glass all illuminated in darkened rooms. Beautiful! From the garden you have an excellent view of the Space Needle for photos.
