We visit 4 Haunted Bars & Taverns and other haunted locations in the heart of Savannah's Historic District. Tour Groups are frequently sold out on weekends w/ 30 people per guide. Ghosts Stories, Paranormal Evidence, History, Delicious Drinks & Drink Specials in "America's Most Haunted City." Informational, Funny, Boozy, Bawdy, and sometimes Creepy, this tour is All About FUN!

An absolute must. Spooky Steve is fantastic. The tour takes you through 3 pubs and several historic sites that have paranormal activity. Spooky Steve educates with comedy and sincerity. The tour ends in a pub and Spooky Steve hung out with the group and continued to answer questions and tell us his interesting and thought provoking stories. We had an amazing time.

So this was my third ghost tour in Savannah, and about my 20th in the world. (No exaggeration- see my blog, entitled "Phantom Memorandum". Unfortunately, I do not have permission to post the link here, and tripadvisor asked me to revise my review to exclude the promotion of my blog.) Hands-down, Spooky Steve gives the best tour EVER. In the history of ghost tours. Engaging. Interesting. Quirky. Funny. Personable. And most of all: Spooky. This guy knows his stuff. Don't even waste time on other tours. Don't contemplate what you are going to do with your time in Savannah. Do not pass go. Do not collect $200. Just take Spooky Steve's tour. We arrived a few minutes late, and Spooky Steve still made us feel welcome, even though we were drenched in sweat and out of breath. I really loved the stories and the bars we visited. Especially Abe's on Lincoln. A divey local bar that is a highlight of the tour. Everyone draws Abe Lincoln faces on cocktail napkins, Speaking of faces, I got some weird faces in some of my photos in the vaults. Sometimes I have trouble staying focused on the stories, but not on this tour- I hung on every word. I was also grateful that our group was not a drunken and obnoxious crowd. We spent just the right amount of time at the bars, and that didn't allow for people on the tour to over-do it. As a person who once led pub crawls myself, I do appreciate an easy-going, even-keel group. I've had groups trying to talk over me, and so drunk that the tour was not enjoyable for others. Not on Spooky Steve's tour. People were here for a good time, but also a very engaged and interested crowd. And I think all the other tours that passed by were jealous of our tour. Spooky Steve knows everyone, and everyone on the streets with other guides looked bored and a little envious. In fact, I took a tour the night before with another group of friends and it was BOOOOORING. I am so glad my other friend (who is a local) picked Spooky Steve. It totally made up for the night before. So to sum this up, and not give away too many of the stories, I will just say I enjoyed this thoroughly. I cannot say enough good things, and I think I am pretty qualified to select a good tour. I don't even really use tripadvisor as my review forum. I use yelp and my own blog, but since I didn't see Spooky Steve on yelp, I came here to review- because I think Spooky Steve deserves the credit . So I cannot sing enough praises about Spooky Steve and his tour. Just do it.

A friend and I went on spooky Steve’s night ghost tour this week! Steve is as entertaining as he is knowledgeable - he knows much about ghosts, paranormal activity, and importantly - how to be a great storyteller and host in his city. Other large tours were eyeing the personal attention we were getting in our small tour. Steve limits the size of his tours and you really leave his tour as a friend. Great dive bars along the way too made the night fun as well!
