Just enough history for the adults, but presented in a way that kept the kids very engaged. Our tour guide was great. Got the kids to sit when talking so they didn't get squirmy. Lots of hands on stuff. Snacks. My 6 year old son LOVED it and I felt like I got to learn a little along the way.

We were looking for something that was kid focused for the boy (4) to do, as he'd been very good around endless gumbo eateries with the adults and we weren't disappointed. It was very age appropriate, with all the stories and information just right for children. Our guide was excellent, the boy is not the shy, retiring type (we like to say he's 'enthusiastic') and she handled him really well, redirecting him and engaging him. He certainly retained a lot and since we've been home he's been making his own ghost detectors to carry on the search. I really recommend this as a fun and informative thing to do with the kids.

This was such a great find on TripAdvisor. Our daughter is 5 and this tour was really geared for her but our 3.5 year old son loved it too! Jill is such a great and engaging tour guide and really knows how to connect with young kids. Our daughter repeatedly has told us that this was her favorite part of the trip to New Orleans and can't stop telling us the story of Jean Lafitte.
