Hubby & came back to St Aug for an anniversary & trip & decided to give the trolly one more try since my last trip this summer was an unusual experience for OTT in our experience. We didn’t realize the Christmas parade was that day (our fault) so the trolly didn’t start running until after 10 & stopped at 4 bc of the Christmas lights (supposedly). Yet they charged $4-6 more for the shortened day & given the delays were excessive bc of traffic, there was no way to get “on & off”. We waited for 3 trolleys at the visitor center before we could get on the first time & we were packed in like sardines. James, our first driver talked a lot of about good bars/restaurants & the paid attractions but very little about the history of St. Aug. we got off at the distillery, had lunch, & got back on with Summer, who was more entertaining, but almost excessive in her theatrics - but at least she was explaining some history of the town. We got off at the Basilica, which was closed, we opted to just walk given the still long waits & getting closer to the ending time. So $85 for essentially an Uber ride to/from the distillery & back & maybe 15” of history despite being on the trolly for almost an hour total. Lesson learned - Old Town Trolley has permanently lost all future business from us. Aside from the hit or miss drivers, charging more on shortened days is just sheister business practices.

Hello,
Please accept our apologies for the delays and overloads you experienced. Old Town Trolley was prepared for the Parade. However, it is always difficult to over come full trolleys when guests' choose to remain aboard due to the fact other guests are waiting to board.
