What To Expect

Basin St. Station

Tour Gathers and Departs from inside of Basin St. Station! Please arrive 10-15 minutes Prior to collect your tickets, tour stickers & to be prepared for a timely tour departure! Basin St. Station is a lovely visitors center where you will find a wide array of exhibits about New Orleans, interactive map about Hurricane Katrina floodwaters, a Cafe, pristine restrooms, a Gift Shop and more. 15 minutes before your Tour Departure, check in at the Cemetery Tour Desk!

St. Louis Cemetery No. 1

At the Time of your Tour Departure, our Tour Guide will Greet you at the Cemetery Tour Desk inside of Basin St. Station. You tour will begin promptly with a short walk across the street, up to the front gates of the Cemetery. Step inside the gates of for your in depth tour of historic St. Louis Cemetery No. 1.

Our guide was amazing and very educated on the Cemetery. Marie Laveau’s tomb was really cool as was the Plessy Tomb. It’s a beautiful Cemetery

Excellent tour, there is so much history to learn about the city, and you can get a great lesson by going on the cemetery tour.
