We really enjoyed this tour! Our guide Zelda was so knowledgable and a great story teller. The tour was the perfect length too. Our ten year old wasn't exactly interested in the tour, but even he managed to (mostly) pay attention for the 45 minutes the tour lasted. I'm so glad we did this tour as it was well worth the money!

Mary was a wonderful tour guide and had so many great anecdotes about the city and people buried in Cemetery No. 1. It is a quick and inexpensive tour to see something super unique to New Orleans. It is definitely something you can get the jist of on other tours and by looking into cemetery gates (or by visiting one of the cemeteries that are open to the public), but having it facilitated was a nice reprieve from the stress of travel.

This was a fun tour! The cemeteries are so fascinating and it was fun to learn about it. We had Mary for our tour guide and I feel so lucky to have a guide whose family has been here for 200 years. Not only did she have extensive knowledge of the history and workings of the cemetery but she had personal family connections to Marie Lavuaex and told I great stories! She was fantastic. You could tell she enjoys her job and the history of New Orleans. Fabulous tour! The whole staff was very friendly!
