Start your tour at the Main Gift Shop in the Cathedral on 51st Street. Our team will provide you with your VIP Tour Pass which also serves as your souvenir of your visit to St Patrick’s Cathedral. Your audio tour includes the use of our Samsung Tablets and free disposable 3.5mm headphones.

Should you wish to take the audio tour on your own device, our team will provide you with your VIP Tour Pass, supply you with headphones (if needed), connect you to Wi-Fi, help you download the TourPatron app and help you locate your code to unlock your audio tour. You may also download the app in advance of your arrival by going to the App Store or Google Play Store and download The TourPatron app. If touring with your own device, this step is required in order to take the tour.

The cathedral developed this audio tour from script to final production edits. It’s an ever evolving labor of love to communicate as much as we can about St. Patrick’s Cathedral to those who wish to learn. We hope this tour will entertain and educate our millions of returning visitors from around the globe. During the months St. Patrick’s Cathedral was closed, we had the opportunity to overhaul and upgrade the entire audio tour. We added hundreds of new images and audio segments. The tour is offered in English, Spanish, Italian, French and Portuguese.

There was a wedding and the usher closed the door that allowed access to the ticket office and would not let us in. Couldn't do the tour. $50 wasted. We did get to see one side of the building for free, but we were disappointed to say the least.

What a breathtaking experience! The cathedral is beautiful! The audio brought scenes and windows to life with the historic perspective.

Narration was very good, confused that some parts were not on tour. Alters were closed, should have been explained when we checked out the audio equipment.
