What To Expect

Central Avenue Murals

The St Pete Art and Mural Tour will explore more than 40 murals in the downtown St. Petersburg area on a casual bike ride. Stops at several murals will take place along Central Avenue and nearby areas to provide information about mural artists, mural histories, and related insights. There will also be plenty of stops for photography. Each stop will be for just a few minutes with some murals enjoyed as we ride past them.

Saint Pete is one of my favorite small cities with a big vibe, and my new favorite way to see the sites and taste some of the cities delectable treats is via St. Pete Biking Tours. I recently took their 4-hour Food and Wine tour. What a fun way to see the city, gets some exercise, taste some gastronomical delights, and imbibe. We started the ride with a great view of the bay, rode past some lovely murals, stopped at Bavaro’s for some tasty Italian, then made a quirky stop for wine and cheese, followed by grilled meats Argentinian-style paired with a perfect cabernet, and ended with a tri-flavor cup of gelato. Tour guides Doug and Jen were clearly area experts, tons of fun to hang with, and no need to be shy when asking Doug about his hair. Whether visiting for the first time or taking a deeper dive into this vibrant city, you can’t go wrong with this lovely tour.
