Experience the thrill of driving your own speedboat through the serene waters of Tampa Bay. For the entirety of this narrated tour, you’ll navigate and captain your own speedboat while following a trained and knowledgeable guide in a different boat. There is a two-way communication system mounted in each boat, so you'll be able to hear your guide throughout the tour. This speedboat adventure is a great way to see beautiful Tampa Bay from the water!

I called Speed Boat Adventures on short notice and they readily accomodated my group. We met them at a Marina in St. Pete. They gave us some short but relevant instruction and off we went. Awesome! The excursion lasted about 90 minutes on Tampa Bay and the intercoastal waterway of St. Pete. We hit some big waves and dodged boat traffic en route to memories that I will never forget. Do not take a pass on Speed Boat Adventures. If you are in the area and have the time book them. It's worth every penny!!!

Today, March 22, 2013, my husband and I joined his brother and our niece, Kelley, on a Speed Boat Adventure. It was a great experience. My husband said he never thought he would ever be in the middle of Tampa Bay. We were guided by the capable and enjoyable Captain Tony, as we traveled the waterways and saw some great scenery, beautiful homes, and amazing wildlife. Then we had the pleasure of seeing a dolphin jumping up out of the water on our way back. A great and safe experience where one person is actually propelling and driving the speedboat under Captain Tony's guidance. Meets the needs of the adventurous and those who just want a great time out on the water. thank you!!

I told my 13 year-old granddaughter that I would take her somewhere on her first day of Spring break, but she had to find something fun to do. She came up with Speed Boat Adventures, so I made an online reservation (very easy), and off we went to Tierra Verde. Captain Tony and Chris were very professional, told us all what to expect, gave very explicit instructions on how to handle the boats, no prior skill was necessary, and we had a blast. We loved going fast, touring the bay and gulf, seeing a couple of dolphins, and being out on the water on a beautiful day. We never got wet, even though it was a bit choppy and windy. We even got to drive fast and make a lot of turns at one point on the open water. My granddaughter said I "rocked" driving the boat. What more can one ask for!
