It’s easier than you think but. Do not play around. It’s fun. The water tide varies from calm to rough. The tour guide was helpful.

This was my second time doing this adventure. Very different experience from my first time with Captain Tony. Much longer idle times this time...almost 45 minutes in the canal at low idle speeds before we got to the area where we could open it up to full throttle. That was awesome and just as I remembered it. After about 25 minutes at full throttle, it was time to head back to the dock...and more low idle speeds becaise of the no wake zones. During the full throttle time we did slow down to view many dolphin sightings. Many of these sightings were fairly close to the boat. Pretty cool. When we got back to the dock, we questioned our guide about the long idle time and were told there were several factors that go into selecting any particular way out...one of the reasons mentioned was driver ability. My sisters and I wonder if the long idle time route was based on an assumption about our driving ability based on our age?
