We picked Classic because of the good reviews (and the Chelsea Piers location) and were not disappointed. The boats are said to be inspired by rich peoples' yachts from the 1920's but ours was fully modern. AC (it was 80 degrees) and the first drink was free. Friendly crew, enough narration to be interesting but not intrusive. If you need to sit outside, line up early as those seats fill first. We wanted to sit inside to stay out of the sun, so were happy in the cabin. In addition to windows on the sides (all around), there are also windows in the roof so you can see the tops of the buildings. There was a LOT of traffic around the Statue of Liberty but I always felt our captain was being careful - we had no fear about hitting another boat. Not a single complaint. There are other sightseeing services but I wouldn't look anywhere else.

Craig, the tour guide was super..interesting historical facts, contemporary awareness of recent architectural trends, & ideas for further research off the boat. Crew was customer friendly and fellow travelers were pleasant, too. Smooth sailing and quiet in the middle of the Hudson, East, and Harlem rivers. Accommodations were comfortable, both inside and out. Many photo opportunities, as well as good maps and photos on their materials to follow along.

Aboard the Manhattan II, you'll experience a luxurious cruise around the Hudson River, enjoying the stunning beautiful New York City Skyline, the Statue of Liberty, & The Brooklyn Bridge to name a few amazing landmarks. To top off this wonderful cruise, the crew was beyond friendly, sparking great conversations, answering any questions about some of the landmarks we came across, and serving you delicious drinks. They were very attentive. Great time, with great people, & a great crew. Highly recommended & then some!
