Our host Jerry was a pleasant and fun leader. He kept our group informed and laughing the whole way. We were pleased with the pace of the trip and enjoyed the information and notes provided by Jerry during our visit. Our transitions from site to site were easy with no issues at security because of him. It was a beautiful day. I recommend you go first thing as the lines were long when we returned. We started right away and headed right over to the statue. Jerry was knowledgeable about the history of the statue and other topics of the city. I had asked about the effects of Superstorm Sandy and he had all the answers. Jerry also kindly took everyone's pictures at the statue! Some folks dropped off at the Ellis Island jaunt but I encourage you to stick with it and see the whole process - less than 1h. I don't think we could have enjoyed the tour as much without our guide. We are grateful he took the time to share his stories and vision with us. I encourage you to ask for Jerry when you sign up. This event will stick with me despite having been to NYC many many times. Thanks walk and Jerry! Also, please read the fine print about backpacks etc. Security is strict!
