Ellis Island Immigration Museum

On Ellis Island you will visit the National Museum of Immigration to learn about the journey of the millions of immigrants who passed through the island from 1892-1924, arriving in America, in search of a better life.

First time in NYC with plans to see the big apple or Manhattan as put best. This stop was a must as my own family passed through this point sometime in the past. It was exhilarating to experience some of the same paths though the actual coming in those days I cannot even fathom. I loved seeing and hearing the history. What courage or sheer desperation the new comers had to have to endur such experiences.

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the guide. I am waiting to hear from both get your guide guide and Amigo tours about a refund as the guide gave us minimal information and left us after a short chat at the museum and we never saw her again, we had to make our own way to Ellis island and the ferry back to New York.
