I was very excited for this cruise as it was our last night in New Orleans. We were in the first sitting for dinner so had to report downstairs as soon as we boarded. (I guess I missed the times dinner appointment. I was about 20 mins late. We sat and were given bread and gumbo by our waitress & told to go help ourselves for a buffet. The food was really good but we were never offered drinks. After dinner, with our dirty plates we waited 30 mins for the Bananas Foster dessert. I had never had it but my friend was really trying to have it. She even went to the buffet table to ask for one & was told we need to wait for our waitress, even though she was no where to be found. We flagged a different waiter who when up and then he disappeared as well. Another table finally gave up and left and then so did we. I was pissed! We stopped at the bar to get my friend a drink and we told the bartender what happened. Anna then went and got us two beautiful.white bowls of Bananas Foster and it was amazing!! Anna saved the night and the reason I did not tank this review. The rain stopped and it was a beautiful.night!!

Anna is a delight and we are grateful she was able to take control so you would not miss the Bananas Foster.

Lovely evening on the Mississippi River. Seating for meal was later than we thought. Seafood pasta was our favorite. Our server, James, was awesome!

The food was not great, air conditioning was too high and it made it very cold. They had a private party who were on the same level as the band. Seems unfair we did not get the choice to be on the same deck as the band, during the meal no music came through the pa only occasionally heard some out of tune singing!
