Prior to booking the trip, I called the phone line to ask questions. Unfortunately, I got somehow off-shore who wasn't able to answer any of my location specific questions, just read to me what was on the website. They did reserve me a spot without charge that I could cancel if I wanted to. When I got to our hotel I was able to finish the research online. Figuring out where (and how) to park was a challenge. The directions from the e-mail weren't clear. I actually knew this would be a challenge prior to arriving from other bad reviews, but that still didn't really help, it just prepared me. Next, the directions for how to convert the e-mail to a physical ticket also wasn't clear from the e-mail. Ultimately it worked out, but it was confusing too. We were told we have the later dinner, so prior to boarding the boat, we picked up some snacks which we brought on with us...only to be told that we were getting the earlier dinner time, so we were carrying the snacks around for the rest of the night...because The dinner was VERY substantial and filling. Food was good; an excellent salad, solid chicken entree, and awesome dual desert of Bananas Foster and Bread Pudding. Also, we learned the reason for the early dinner was because the boat wasn't fully booked, which actually I think made for a much better experience. Had there been a bunch more people, I probably would rate it lower. All-in-all, not bad. Were it priced a bit lower, I might even give it 5-stars, but it wasn't good enough for what we paid.

We certainly appreciate your review. As we don't own any of the parking lots we can only refer that there are 5 ground lots in easy walking distance. Sometimes you can locate on-street parking as well.

TLDR: Customer service was non existent/borderline offensive for the price they charge. The food wouldn't be worth it IF IT WERE FREE. DO NOT BOOK THIS RIVERBOAT TOUR WITH DINNER As I sit eating what they call a dinner I can't help but let everyone else know to never book this dinner cruise on your trip to New Orleans. We booked a trip with my family of 9 for the dinner cruise with live jazz. First of all the live Jazz only takes place on the top deck where NOT ONE DINNER IS SERVED! The music is rebroadcasted down to the dining areas but they took a 45 minute break while we were served dinner. And just being served dinner was a challenge in itself. We had booked a table for 9 but when we went to sit for the "dinner" part of our cruise they first told us they didn't have our reservations and that they would have to scramble to put tables together for our group. Then they finally came back and admitted they had "messed up" and written the wrong number on our table and that's why they didn't realize that they had our table. As if a name wasn't enough. Turns out they wrote 18 instead of 9 for some reason that even they couldn't make up an explanation for. When we finally sat down they told us they would get us some gumbo and let us know when we could go up to get food from the buffet. They then came back 10-15 minutes later and infoed us that they had run out of gumbo and that we would have to continue to wait to get in line for the dinner. Furiated, we waited for her to come back 15-20 minutes later to tell us that we could "jump in line whenever it looks short enough". So we waited as group after group filed in never letting the line to get any shorter. We then jumped in line to wait to be served what they call a "dinner". The chicken was too hot for most of the people in our group to eat and the rest of the food was either flavorless or had such little flavor that no one could taste anything after trying the chicken. They then proceeded to try to bring out the gumbo they said they were out of after we had already gotten our dinner. I personally believe they tried to hide the abhorrent quality of the bowl they tried to pass as gumbo from us because that was the most disgusting thing I've ever heard called gumbo in my life. They also failed to bring enough for the whole table, which wasn't the end of the world since it was soo insanely bad, but the fact we didn't even get served our money's worth is an additional strike on this place. Nothing was served correctly or fully and the laxadaisical attitude with which the small amount of customer service was delivered was NOT EVEN CLOSE to worth the price per ticket.

This is not the experience we expect for our guests. We apologize for all parts of it. Thank you for letting us know.

Cruise was overbooked for dinner probably due to a conference group that took the whole first deck. Many food items were out and service was disorganized. Last tables served didn't get their food until 15 minutes prior to docking. The jazz band was excellent tho'!

We had a night where a group appeared on the incorrect evening but we tried to accommodate everyone.
