I surprised my boyfriend with a dinner on the Steamboat. We loved every bit of it! The food was amazing and the hospitality that was shown by Ms. Tran Bach was phenomenal! We dined on the night of March 5th. We saw how hard she was working and couldn’t help but to tip her very well and acknowledge her hard work! She is truly someone that needs to be cherished! We are not from New Orleans but if we ever get the chance to come back we hope to see Ms. Bach!

Tran has been an active staff member for many years, and we hope for many years to come. We hope you return to us another time.

The food was good. The servers were excellent. The jazz music was okay. We were surprised that they took a break on a two hour cruise. When they took a break we moved outside but apparently the music isn't piped onto all decks. We were disappointed about that. We were also expecting a bit more of a narration of what we were seeing along the way.

The Jazz is played during boarding the one hour boarding and then again after the live narration heading downriver. They play two sets after the turnaround. It should have been appearing on the inside television on 3 decks. My apologies if there was any difficulty on your specific deck

Had a very good time. I was really impressed with the Captain and his knowledge of the river and the area. He informed us about the other large vessel s on the river and how the Pilot must run those vessels, not the Captain, when on the river as they have a full understanding of the the depth and current, etc. Very interesting. Boarding and departing was pretty quick and the music was good.
