It was not was I expected. The band was a 3-member band. They only played for about an hour ( if that) in total of the 2hr cruise. It was 3 people in my group, our dinner was scheduled for 7:45pm. Once we sat down for dinner, we noticed that 95% of the other tables didn't have salads. We asked out waitress, and was told she would bring us some. Almost 20mins later, and still no salad. We were told it was our time to get up and get our buffet style food. We asked our waitress again she stopped and spoke to her supervisor, as we were walking past the supervisor store to her that" she doesn't have the time to go down stairs and look for salad. There is too much going on". She was was frustrated and waa rude to her seever who was only trying to please the guess at her table. Once we all sat down to eat, the food was grilled chicken, string beans, sautéed potatoe slices, pasta with shrimp, and a roll. The first course was the salad and a small bowl of sausage and chicken gumbo with rice. The gumbo was decent nothing special, the main course in general was decent. After a fee minutes from sitting down with our plates, my friend found a long piece of blond hair in her pasta. At tht point we were disgusted. We spoke to our waitress she had dark hair. She said she would bring her supervisor over, it took the supervisor 20 mins to get to our table. She said that she went to see who was cooking the pasta for the night, and it wasn't no one with blond hair. Well ok but clearly it was someone. No one at our table had blond hair. That alone took every one's appetite. While you eat there is a flat screen TV that you can watch the band on a screen. And again the hour we were having dinner, the band only played for about 30mins. It was very disappointing. 6tanles and ours finally got salads 1ins before the 9pm end of the cruise. For dessert, there was a 2in by 2in piece of bread pudding, and another small bowl of two mini scoops of vanilla ice cream. Everything was very rushed, the service was poor and we all feel that it was not worth our $89. Our waitress did the best she could but it was clearly short staffed. If we were going to have poor service, not get enough food as we were suppose to, then why book so many people, if you don't have the staff ? We felt that it was a rip off. All of the staff was over worked, they were bickering trying to jangle so many things and even said they were going to have a big meeting the next day. I would never go on this cruise again. I will be requesting my refund.
