So about two weeks ago, my mother and I had a fantastic and fun time on the Stone Mountain Park Sightseeing Tour. What can I say, we had an amazing tour guide by the name of Omar. First of all, he is hilarious and has great energy! He is incredibly insightful and knowledgeable. Not only regarding the tour but history in general. What I appreciated about him the most is that he didn’t just solely provide factual information about Stone Mountain; he was able to contextualize its history throughout the centuries and decades, providing the good and not so good parts of its history. On top of that he provided great restaurant recommendations and even played a game of Georgia trivia with us. Which was a lot of fun! For those of you wondering if this tour is worth it, it’s worth it solely just having him as a tour guide. 10 stars across the board!
