I’m going to start this off by saying that I’m aware that the fog can’t be controlled. However, 85% of the tour was everyone just staring at fog while the audio talked about landmarks that we should be seeing. The only thing that was visible was the Alcatraz island and even that wasn’t clear due to the fog. The audio was informative, we just couldn’t see anything.

We are sorry to hear that the fog impacted your cruise experience with us. Our ticket flexibility does allow guests the choice of when they would like to take a cruise with us. Please send us an email to [email protected] and we will be able to address this experience with you directly.

It was really nice. The audio on the headphone were not keeping up with the boat speed as far as the points of interest that were being high listed at the time in the different areas.

This was a nice relaxing way to see the bay (in fact one person took a nap the whole time). As you board, you are given headphones to listen to the audio tour. They have multiple language options. There is a snack bar, but we did not try anything from it. Plenty of seating choices - indoor, outdoor, upper deck, lower deck. The only reason I took a star away is because I'm just not sure how they are cleaning the headphones. When we came in, we were instructed to grab headphones from a rack - and then as we were leaving we put the headphones back on the same rack... which gave me the impression that they are not sanitized between trips. Perhaps they are. I sure hope so.

Hi Karen, I wanted to pop in to mention that we do sanitize our headphones after every trip. We didn't realize our guests were unaware of this fact and are currently brainstorming ways to make this better known. Thank you for the feedback!
