This was an inexpensive and worthwhile tour of the bay. We loved the narration of the history of the city. It was super cold on the water so bundle up. Lots to see and learn in just an hour. We were disappointed that we didn’t get to visit Alcatraz due to tickets being sold out (separately) but this cruise immerses you verbally so we didn’t miss out on anything.

The narration was amazing. It gave history and information about SF and the sights all around us. We sat at the very top which gave us amazing photo opportunities. Great value too!

If you're mostly there for the amazing boat sights (Alcatraz, Golden Gate Bridge, Presidio, and just gazing back at the beautiful city of SF) then you can't go wrong with this fantastic tour. It's just long enough (at an hour) but about the right time to cover everything. Technically, it's a free audio tour. They give you headphones and a little walkman thing. Oddly enough, you have to turn to channel 66 for English (really? Why can't they make that channel 1?) but after about twenty minutes in the wind on the boat most people just take it off and watch with their eyes. And what a sight it is to see. Great for a sunny day (but a lot of indoor places if you don't like the sun or you catch San Fran on a windy day). All in all, a great time with the children. Everyone loved it. Even had snacks like popcorn and chips and beverages (for sale).
