We prepurchased tickets for a Bay cruise with the Red and White Fleet for Sunday 7th October when there was a big air show on, and I'm so glad we did because we had a wonderful time. The vessel that we boarded was a brand new one called the Enhydra. Enhydra is said to be the first aluminium-hulled, lithium-Ion battery plug-in hybrid vessel manufactured in the US.
It had three decks providing views of the Bay and San Francisco skyline, as well as audio tour entertainment systems. The seating was great. The top deck was fully open with ample seating but as it was very hot I din't want to be exposed to so much sun. Therefore we went a deck below and sat outside under the shade where there were still excellent views.
The tour lasted about 3 hours and a wonderful buffet was included-despite the "vigorous" appetites of some of the passengers, there was still plenty of food left at the end.
The restrooms were very clean and I loved the Dyson taps which incorporated a very powerful hand dryer.
This really was a wonderful way to relax and watch the awesome air display whilst cruising round the bay- I'll upload some images later- so i'd thoroughly recommend this trip, this vessel and the crew.
