We booked a Strange True Tour after finding a 2-for-1 deal on Groupon. Let me tell you, this tour is worth the full price. The guide and creator of the Strange True Tour is Jeffrey. This guy really knows what he is talking about. His passion for New Orleans and his knowledge of the city is amazing. Jeffrey gives a lot of real and interesting facts, and fills you in on which stories the buggy guides and other tours make up. We loved the Strange True Tour so much that we went back a few days later for his Grave Tour. That tour was fascinating as well. I'd highly recommend both tours if you want to spend an hour or two with a cool, knowledgeable guy who will familiarize you with New Orleans.

This tour was one of the hi lights of my trip to New Orleans, we could not believe how much information we learned, Jeffrey was a really great guide. In the past I have not been a fan of guided tours but I really have a new take on the experience. I highly recommend Strange True Tours..such a good time!!

So I was walkiing down Royal St. and caught a look @ Strange True Tours sign. I picked up a brochure and went on my way... The next day , i called them. Turns out they are relatively new. ANYWAY, my brother and I booked the afternoon tour. Jeffrey was the name of our guide and he knew his stuff. He covered some things that is probably not on most tours. [I double checked about Code Noir and Storyville. Jeffrey was completely right!] My favorite part was the difference between European and American duels. [Very informative and kind've darkly comic!] I wish the best of luck to this new company! GREAT INFO!
