The entrance of SUMMIT One Vanderbilt is located on the Main Concourse Level of Manhattan’s Grand Central Terminal, inside Vanderbilt Passage.

All SUMMIT tickets are timed. You MUST arrive at your scheduled time, which is indicated on your ticket. SUMMIT operates at full capacity. You might not be able to get in if arriving more than 20 minutes after the time indicated on your ticket.

Any late arrival is subject to availability and a rescheduling fee

Children age 5 and under are free with accompanying paid adult
Dress appropriately to avoid unwanted exposure on glass and mirrored floors. We recommend wearing pants, shorts or tights when possible.
Wear comfortable shoes. Stiletto heels, steel toe boots, sports cleats and other footwear that can damage mirrored flooring are not permitted.
Outside food and beverage, smoking or e-cigarettes, large packages, suitcases, or weapons of any kind will not be permitted beyond the security checkpoint.
There is no storage for person items. Large bags, large backpacks and luggage are not permitted.

I really enjoyed the experience the views were incredible. We went for a 10pm time slot… believing this would be less busy but we were definitely wrong. I’m not sure when is the best time to go to be honest, our friends went in the day and they stated it was similar. The queue at the start was long and could probably be hurried along had there been more than one photographer. The staff managing the queue seemed to rush us around the queue to wait for the photos as they were concerned it was late and near to closing time. However the experience was good but it was clear a lot of people spent time photographing in the affinity room which made it quite busy and crowded sadly did not spend enough time in this room due to that. The rest is very well balanced and there is enough space and time to take photos. I would recommend waiting for the glass platform it doesn’t take as long at it looks photos they are good and you get 30seconds to take your own photos… prepare for that as they stick to the time! All round would recommend the summit one it was a good experience. Very good!

Loved Summit One Vanderbilt! Family of 4 adults and we all loved it. Booked on line in advance and bought tickets for 7pm to get day time/sunset/ nighttime views. Stunning views and unique experience. Would highly recommend 👌
