The entrance of SUMMIT One Vanderbilt is located on the Main Concourse Level of Manhattan’s Grand Central Terminal, inside Vanderbilt Passage.

All SUMMIT tickets are timed. You MUST arrive at your scheduled time, which is indicated on your ticket. SUMMIT operates at full capacity. You might not be able to get in if arriving more than 20 minutes after the time indicated on your ticket.

Any late arrival is subject to availability and a rescheduling fee

Dress appropriately to avoid unwanted exposure on glass and mirrored floors. We recommend wearing pants, shorts or tights when possible.
Wear comfortable shoes. Stiletto heels, steel toe boots, sports cleats and other footwear that can damage mirrored flooring are not permitted.
Outside food and beverage, smoking or e-cigarettes, large packages, suitcases, or weapons of any kind will not be permitted beyond the security checkpoint.
There is no storage for person items. Large bags, large backpacks and luggage are not permitted.

The ballon room is awesome, a very trippy experience that everyone will enjoy, a great interactive fun time.

It was an amazing experience. The story about it was enlightening. Loved the balloon part and the mirrors. The staff was great and helpful. Will come back.

The good stuff: Located in the heart of Manhattan, this is an observatory with a difference. What sets it apart is the experience right at the top. Glass filled experience with sweeping views of the city. The not so good stuff: Despite going on a weekday, the queues were too long to get in even with a confirmed booking. The scan for photos before going into the elevator is a pain and the darkness before entering elevator may not be everyone's experience. It is something to do when visiting for the first time and probably is a one time experience.
