The entrance of SUMMIT One Vanderbilt is located on the Main Concourse Level of Manhattan’s Grand Central Terminal, inside Vanderbilt Passage.

All SUMMIT tickets are timed. You MUST arrive at your scheduled time, which is indicated on your ticket. SUMMIT operates at full capacity. You might not be able to get in if arriving more than 20 minutes after the time indicated on your ticket.

Any late arrival is subject to availability and a rescheduling fee

We had an amazing time taking photos and seeing the skyline views at night. Each floor had different experiences. $45 for a photo book is pretty cheap too.

Not your average observation deck!! We didn't really know what to expect, but BOY am I glad we did this! Without giving to much away.... This is a multi-level experience that will excite all of your senses! The different rooms each provide a different experience! Plus the views are breathtaking! Also, make sure you get the ticket with the signature cocktail! They are worth it and really elevate the experience! This truly takes observations decks to the next level!

The Summit: It’s a great venue to see the city views in an Instagramable setting as you are immersed in art installations. My friend and I purchased tickets on line on a Tuesday at 10:30 a.m, hoping that it’s a weekday, early enough to beat the crowds. Our ticket included the SUMMIT Experience + a the 12 story glass elevator journey Ascent. When we arrived at our time slot there was a line you have to wait in. Don’t count on entering on the time you purchased. By the time you enter scan tickets, go through security and wait to take the elevator to the top it’s about 45 mins. to an hour. If you go during a sunny day, be prepared with sunglasses. When you get off the elevator you will walk through several art installation rooms , all with a unique feel while enjoying the views. After which you can take the glass elevator and ascend to the upper floors and then back down. It was crowded still and you had to wait for the glass floor booths along with a wait the for Ascent elevator… but all good. I would say it was worth the ticket price and I’m glad we did it. Fun time!
