This trip was a gift from my husband made even more special by the crew/staff from California Dreamin. Sunrise flight-location was easy to find, safe parking. It felt just a bit magical along with the other 9 people in our basket. I felt safe and in good hands. I am not fond of heights but never felt scared as the crew was excellent. This was our first balloon adventure but now our last. We will back.

My wife searched the providers and made the very wise choice of California Dreamin' Balloon Adventures in Temecula for our somewhat impromptu vacation for a day. The staff was very helpful and courteous and made sure that we had an outstanding trip. The trip included a post-flight continental breakfast that featured some tasty bread, fresh fruits, brie, and of course, mimosa! Special thanks to David & Gayle for an excellent adventure! We even came back to sample their estate wines at their tasting room (Vindemia Estate Winery) later that morning!

We (Mom, Dad & an 8 year old) went "California' Dreamin'" this morning and had the best time. Yes, getting up before sunrise was not fun on vacation, but the crew got us off to the launch site quickly & made it interesting along the way. Watching the balloon get filled & readied for us was fascinating (and we thought it would be boring!). The flight itself was amazing. It was incredibly gorgeous and smooth. Our pilot Dave was easy-going and clearly very skilled. We had great fun flying high (about 1000 feet) and low (just grazing the tops of some trees, but on purpose). The rest of the crew was very pleasant and volunteered to take pictures of everyone who flew with their cameras. (No charge like some other ballooning companies in this area.) The one-hour-ish flight was fabulous and a great length. Breakfast after (cheese, crackers, local breads, fresh fruit, mimosas, coffee/tea) at Vindemia Winery was yummy and in a perfect setting. We even got to try some of their wines, which was a wonderful bonus. (They make only reds & all the ones we tried were terrific.) A fabulous experience in every way. If ballooning is on your bucket list, you can go wrong with Dave & Gail and their crew.
