Our first balloon ride and the experience was unbelievably wonderful and the California Dreamin staff were very polite, smart, and extremely experienced.

I never thought I would get in a HOT AIR Balloon,but for my 50th I did and it was Amazing!! From speaking w/Gail to get info.,Matt our Pilot explaining and answering alot of our ?? the smooth take off soarig over Rancho Santa Fe,going into the clouds and above clouds due to winds,the sights and experience is something I will never forget!! Since my daughter died (5 yrs ago) I felt so close to her and at peace. Thank you for that. Now for the landing,(To me was more nerve wrecking)which was fine,Matt did awesome! Then after he presented us w/Champaigne for the newly engaged couple and a (favorite) Chocolate cake for my Birthday.On the drive back we sat w/one of the sons of the owner to find out his mom is from Chicagoland area (Our hometown). THANK YOU AGAIN!!

I booked a flight for my husband's birthday, and it was a great experience. The pilot and crew were very friendly and professional. They never rushed through their prep (checking the weather, inflating the balloon, etc.), and our pilot was in constant contact with the ground crew, so we felt totally safe. They also were very patient and willing to make it a memorable experience by helping us take photos before and after the flight, and recognizing whatever special events the passengers were celebrating. And although we were coached on how to brace for the landing, it was so smooth and soft we almost didn't feel it. Our pilot Matt and his ground crew did an awesome job. The continental breakfast and complimentary bottle of wine (and birthday cake!) afterward was the perfect end to a perfect experience. I would definitely recommend this company.
