Wow. What a spectacular experience. Yes, indeed early and by the time the guys are taking balloon out, it is unbelievable. The warmth of the sun becomes cherished as it was 10 full degrees cooler in Temecula than San Diego and after waking up at 3:45 am pst, simply amazing! The beauty of the balloons themselves is fabulous and they guys and display of teamwork to make it all happen and get you back all within a three or three and a half hour period is amazing! Finally, up in the sky, I did not realize the calmness and serenity of it all until we were a couple of thousand feet up and I am in total awe of the spirit of Mother Nature over the whimsical fog that has pushed us away from wine country while completely respecting and admiring his majesty! I cannot say enough about the experience other than enjoy and fully enjoy California Dreamin' hot air balloon ride!

My wife and I did this yesterday morning, we had an awesome time. Watching the crew get the ballon ready was a really cool thing to see. Would highly recommend this company for a hot air balloon ride. Crew was super nice and informative of the areas we passed over. I would recommend everyone wear a hat. I am 5'9, and while they recommend a hat for those over 6 ft, I still felt the heat from the burners. Breakfast afterward was a nice selection of cheeses and fruits, and we have a complimentary bottle of wine to take home with us.

Actually 3.5, I took my mom for a balloon ride and chose California Dreamin because of the reviews. The welcome was warm, the people there were extremely friendly and nice to deal with. They took us to the launch site and we were the first balloon in the air. The launch-ride-landing experience was perfect. Post landing they had a small breakfast and birthday cake setup for occasions. The reason i give them 3.5 rating? Well I wished they could have driven in the different direction and we could have flown over the wineries instead of barren farms. I know temecula is not like Napa but where we drove, those areas were beautiful. We drove away from the wineries and the wind drifted us even further away. In my best guess, had we driven in the opposite direction, we could have seen a view. :( The winery which they own, is beautiful and the wines were laden with grapes. It was a beautiful setting for breakfast.
