This was the first Balloon ride that my wife and I have ever taken. California Dreaming is a well run organization that makes you feel at ease and besides they have the best stories after the balloon ride while you are tasting their excellent wines. Their passion for ballooning and wine making are of the highest levels. We will definitely return and we highly recommend their wines and their ballooning. They are experts in both fields.

This balloon ride was great! The staff was very helpful beginning with the initial call to Gail to inquire about the adventure. I went with 2 people who were apprehensive because they are afraid of heights..but the ride was smooth, the staff put us at ease, and we would all definitely go again. we glided through the air " with the greatest of ease". Dave, our " pilot" made us feel very confident in his abilities and we could tell he really knew what he was doing: 38? years of experience. The view was beautiful even in the OFF-season when the grapevines are pruned back twigs instead of lush green vines. He pointed out many landmarks and introduced us to the area in a way not possible by land. He also shared many tidbits of wisdom with us. Ours was a sunrise adventure. What a way to great the day! Also perfect for birthday and anniversary celebrations. Back at his vineyard-while relaxing in the early morning sun- we enjoyed mimosas, homemade bread, crackers and cheese, fruit and even chocolate cake in honor of those celebrating special days. It was the highlight of our CA vacation.
