This was a truly amazing experience for my daughter and her eldest brother. This balloon was the first up, it flew the highest, the farthest, and stayed up the longest of any balloon launched in their timeframe. The staff was quite informative, jovial and accommodating to all of our needs and theirs. The historical lesson during the toast was outstanding. We were so excited at being able to follow along with the crew from the ground level to document and preserve this special occasion for the siblings. Next time, we're definitely going up! An adventure well work experiencing!

Ok so I knew I wanted to propose to my girl friend in a hot air balloon over wine country so I set out to find a balloon tour company. I saw numerous positive reviews for "California Dreamin." I called and made the reservation and told them id like to propose to my girlfriend in mid flight which they said would be no problem. After organizing it with the staff we took off somewhere in Temecula's wine country. The flight itself was beautiful and peaceful all at once. The pilot was very nice and professional. He took us up above the fog layer to wear it seemed as if we were floating on pillows. I gave the pilot my camera and popped the question right then and there. He recorded the whole thing while simultaneously flying the balloon effortlessly. She said yes and we began our slow, smooth decent. We landed softly in a field somewhere in Temecula closer to the 15. We were shuttled back to our meeting location next to Vindemia Winery and had a nice brunch with Mimosa and a little wine. Gail, one of the owners of the company, announced to everyone the news of our recent engagement which was met with applause and the question,"did she say yes?????." Gail gave us a Wine bottle with a little congratulations note and had one of the crew members take our first photos as an engaged couple with the vineyard in the background. Truly beautiful. This could have been a stressful nerve shattering day for me but Gail and the rest of the crew made it smooth, relaxing, and enjoyable. I know for a fact I will be flying with them again in the future. The staff is personable and friendly, the safety is paramount, and the experience one of a kind. If your going to fly in a balloon, go with California Dreamin! Thank you guys!

For safety reasons, the balloon ride had to be postponed due to too much wind. I respect the decision and the owners offered to refund the money or postpone the trip.
