These folks do a superb job. Family business. Pilot is the vintner at Vindemia Winery, where you meet before departure, so he knows a lot about the vineyards you cross during the flight. Good communications, excellent and safe equipment, fun atmosphere, reassuring crew, nice for the birthday people that flew the day we went up. Put it this way, I would not even think of looking further than California Dreamin' for my next balloon adventure. Cheez, in rereading this, it sounds like I work for them. I don't, I just thought they did a very fine job.

California Dreamin' is terrific from the time they pick you up (if you stay at the South Coast Winery) to the time they drop you off. The balloon trip was so much fun. You just float but feel safe the entire time. Once they set you down, you had a glass of champagne or mimosa. Once you return to the winery, they have a lovely continental breakfast. It was my husband's birthday and they had a delicious chocolate cake that they shared with everyone on the tour. It was just a remarkable experience. If you have the chance, go and enjoy!

One of a kind experience. I'd love to be able to experience this again but at the price it'll have to be a special occasion before I have the pleasure of ballooning through the skies again. The crew was friendly but the landing was rough due to the windy conditions. Very romantic and serene.
