Our children gave us a wonderful gift this past Christmas. A two night stay at a winery and the hot air balloon ride. It was such a great time. We not only loved our balloon ride, but we loved Temecula, especially the old town area. If you are having any anxiety about taking a balloon ride, don't. I have an extreme fear of heights, but this trip was like sitting in an easy chair in your backyard. What a pleasurable trip. So smooth, and so beautiful. And the precautions that are taken before each flight are remarkable. We had a very romantic stay in Temecula for Valentine's Day that we will not soon forget.

My husband and I celebrated our 25 wedding anniversary with this balloon ride. Everything was excellent. Directions, time, courtesy of staff. They even turned on heaters and gave us blankets as the morning was very cold. Flight was amazing from start to finish. Excellent commentary from our pilot. Told about local history, names of mountains, pointed out names of vineyards and other interesting landmarks and information along the way. All with a great sense of humour. They then drive you back to the vineyard for a continental breakfast. Very nice with local artisan breads, fresh berries and fruits and very nice cheeses and artisan crackers and of course coffee, tea and juices. They also have sampling’s of a few of their wines. We were also given a bottle of wine for our anniversary. A very pleasant experience! Highly recommended.

We have never been to Temecula and thought a ballon ride would be a fun way to see the area. We found California Dreamin’ Balloon Adventures on Trip Advisor and were not disappointed! It is a family owned ballooning company and they also own the winery where we met before and returned to afterwards for a lovely breakfast overlooking the valley as the morning was waking up! Just beautiful and so relaxing! The ballon ride was great and our pilot did an awesome job with the changing winds and getting up above the clouds for some amazing views! We would definitely recommend!!
