Overview

The Sunrise Tour in Monument Valley is one of the greatest natural light show on earth. After a brief introduction with your Navajo guide the group will navigate into the heart of Monument Valley. The guide will determine a perfect place to watch the sunrise near the well known "Totem Pole" Monument. Please bring your camera! because this will be a sunrise you will never want to forget. After the sunrise prepare for an outstanding live performance at the Big Hogan Arch. Fully awaken your spirit with a skilled musician by your side and enjoy the natural amphitheater effect. The tour will then visit a Navajo Hogan where locals will demonstrate the art of Navajo Rug weaving. The tour will continue stopping at some of the most iconic places like John Ford's point, Three Sisters, Mitten View and much more! Watch each mesa, butte, and spire glow before your eyes on this unforgettable sunrise tour.

The experience was wonderful. There is a special quality to the light in Monument Valley, but especially so at sunrise. We came back with hundreds of beautiful pictures and an memories that will provide smiles for years to come. Sandrea was an excellent, knowledgeable and experienced guide, providing hints on where and how to take great pictures. And having the valley more or less to yourself (we saw another car) adds a sense of solitude that completes the experience. It was well worth getting up super early for the experience.

Our guide Sandrea, got us to the perfect place for our sunrise viewing and the rest of the tour was stops at other interesting places. She shared Navajo stories and songs and it was very interesting and a beautiful area to explore.

Sandrea was our guide for the sunrise tour. Wow! She was great! She took us to the perfect spots for taking pictures and shared a lot of the Navajo History. This tour is one of the highlights of our trip across America.
