We purchased our sunset cruise with Pink Sails through Groupon. We made our reservations well in advance for a group of 10. Due to transportation problems getting to the pier which is very difficult to find and very unclearly marked, we were 10 minutes late. We were informed that the ship had left. I understand that it was our fault for being late, but we had left a voicemail on the answering machine of the company letting them know that we were having difficulty getting to the pier beforehand. We called (there is nobody on-site to speak to) and were told that they would try to communicate with the captain and see if he was willing to circle back or not. We waited over 30 minutes at the pier I never received a callback. When I finally spoke to someone again they told us that they were not coming back and could not guarantee us an opportunity to reschedule or get a refund. From that point on I called several other times on our vacation with no response. Again I do not blame this entire mishap on the company, but be aware that their response is terrible and be sure that you understand where you need to be and plan to be there well ahead of schedule. We paid for transportation to and from the pier only to have a huge group sorely disappointed by not getting to go on this excursion. You would think that with a huge group such as ours that a simple phone call could have been made, but they seemed uninterested in helping us. They commented that since we had redeemed our Groupon voucher when we made the reservation that they were not obligated to do anything else.
