Offered both winter and summer. (Daylight restrictions may apply) This tour, along with our Sunrise Tour, is our most popular wildlife and city tour. Depending on the time of year, we see moose, sheep, whale, goats, wolves, bear and more. While animals are never guaranteed, it is your best chance to see wildlife in Anchorage and the time of day ensures the best possible views of our city. This tour is the same price for a private or group tour.

What To Expect

Flattop Mountain Trail

We travel to the top of the Chugach Mountain Range to the base of Flattop Mountain.

Anchorage

Views of Historic Anchorage and learn about the changes in topography caused by the November 30th, 2018 earthquake and the 1964 Great Alaskan quake 1,000 times stronger.

A full extensive tour of downtown Anchorage it's history and the many changes that have occurred in the last 100 years and beyond.

Hi Sandra, Unfortunately, vehicles in Alaska do take a beating. It has been said “it is not an Alaskan car without a chip in the window”. We also do not wash our cars daily in the winter. They do tend to lock us in from the cold. Sounds like you enjoyed the tour. I do hope you change the rating of this tour. Basing the experience rating of a tour on anything else simply hurts my small business and I am hoping on making more money to buy a new car soon. We do travel over 60,000 miles a year on average and do need to replace our vehicles every 3 years. Kind regards. Russ Reno - Owner

If you have mobility issues and require a wheelchair or scooter, please inform Russ Reno so he can make arrangements. I have a small foldable scooter (suitcase size) but his vehicle had no storage. Russ was very informative and is very knowledgeable about the City of Anchorage and the surrounding areas. He has an avid earthquake interest and shares his knowledge. We were able to see beluga whales, black bear, mama moose and her calf. It would have been a 5 rating if I could have had the freedom to see the salmon ladder and other walking sites. I would recommend his tour.

As I said before you agreed to continue. I would have been more than happy to go back to my office and make room for the scooter. And YES please take a moment to answer the questions I ask to every guest. Are there any other needs? You could have easily informed me of your special needs request in advance as asked so I could have easily complied with with ADA requirements. Your review hurts my business and is unfair! For someone who saw a beluga whale, black bear, momma moose and her calf you received a stellar tour that deserves a 5 star rating. For you to personally attack my business when you agreed to the conditions is not only unfair but it is hateful! I wish I had never taking you on my tour! You have no right attacking me?

If it’s cloudy and raining, don’t bother going. You will not be able to go out on nature and capture the beautiful surroundings as you’d like.
