This tour was a blast! We spent the first part learning about the history of Anchorage and Alaska on a short walking tour. Next we drove, seeing and hearing first hand accounts of the 1964 earthquake. We visited a fish hatchery, and then drove through the hillsides over Ancorage, seeing incredible views and the hours long setting sun. We didnt see alot of wildlife, but apparently usually do. By the time the sun finally set, we felt we had spent a great evening with friends. Russ was funny, very well informed, and flexible, fitting the tour to the evening. Angie was our driver and made the trip a lot of fun.

We were not sure what to expect after reading the reviews…. city, wildlife, sunset?? This outing did not disappoint!! I love walking tours that give you background information on the area! Russ shared so much information in a most entertaining way! Then we hit the road, exploring the area while keeping an eye out for wildlife. We saw our first moose, not to mention a lot of leaping salmon. We were out past midnight and saw a lovely sunset. I’m so glad we did this tour! We are so glad

We enjoyed being able to see the animals that our guide found. However, he almost had us in a car accident within 30 seconds of us starting our trio. He took us into a area downtown on a walk with homeless and drug people handing out. The vehicle was in bad shape and he was misinformed in some of his facts. He was the owner and was an hour late to the pick up point.

I do wish you would have addressed me personally. Especially if I had fact wrong. I am pretty sure I tell everyone to feel free to challenge me as I learn new facts constantly and I always welcome a fact check. I have been wrong before and I am sure I will be again. But if I have incorrect information then I would like to know about it before you send such a review so I can fix its immediately. As for the "car accident" we had to avoid a collision from a vehicle making an illegal turn via the sidewalk.Even though I try to prepare for anything just in case. Some idiots you can not control the stupid mistakes they make no matter how prepared you are. I also cannot be held responsible for another endangerment. I truly am sorry you did not enjoy your tour. I would welcome a call from you so I can correct any facts I may be incorrectly stating. I don't recall being an hour late but I will take your word for it. That is unusual for me to make such a mistake. My apologies. Please call with any additional comments 907-802-7444
