What To Expect

Hawaii Nautical

Honi Olani is a 53-foot catamaran that has both covered seating as well as outdoor seating. The configuration of the catamaran is great for viewing and picture taking of the Hawaiian Sunset. Enjoy this two hour cruises on the west side of the island which is known for its beautiful sunsets. Look for Dolphins Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles Humpback Whales [in season], and Flying Fish Board a sailing catamaran and sail past the immense Makaha Valley and see it in all its glory, peak to shore, in the beautiful late-afternoon lighting. The captains and crew will teach you about Hawaii’s long and storied history of the sea, from fishing, to pioneering surfing, and the Hawaiian art of way-finding – using paths of stars, the sun, clouds, wind, swell, even birds in flight to find their way across the vast ocean. After sunset, gaze at the stars as you return to the harbor, and try to match the constellations to the Hawaiian names on a Hawaiian sky map.

We had a great time on the cruise. The boat was clean, the views were amazing, and the crew could not have been better. We are in Hawaii on our honeymoon and the crew realized that and congratulated us multiple times. They even took pictures for us (see attached picture of crew member haha) and served drinks and took our trash. I wish I was in Hawaii longer to take their other tours. Would highly recommend!!

Catamaron was very clean and big enough for 80 people and we only had 30 people on this trip. Food was very good and the captain and crew were very nice and accomodating. I'm giving this cruise only 3 strars because we did not really cruise!. We went out thru the breakwater and opened the sail but only cruised for a little while and then anchored for an hour and waited for the sunset. that was disappointing as on other cruises we have cruised along the coast and enjoyed the senery until it was time for the sunset and that is definitely more enjoyable than just anchored not far from shore and waiting for the sunto set.

1st. Captain Mash, Rodney and Jesse are the BEST! The drinks flowed freely and were the most reasonable prices I encountered during my stay, the nibbles were tasty. The music relaxing and the scenery GORGEOUS! We were able to spend most of our time sailing (no engines). The crew was super friendly and we enjoyed playing and getting to know them. Sunset was sketchy, but the friendly crew and scenery was totally worth it!
