Sunset Cruise from Clearwater

Overview
Our Sunset Celebration Cruise lasts approximately two hours and will take you from Clearwater Bay through Clearwater Pass to the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. Sail the beautiful waters of the Gulf of Mexico as you view a breathtaking Florida sunset and — if you’re lucky you may witness the legendary green flash. Your crew will point out some interesting facts about the natural wonders of the Gulf Coast as well as popular sights along the way. We are pleased to include a Complimentary Sunset Champagne Toast for all guests 21 and up.

While we do not guarantee dolphin sightings on our Sunset Cruise we often see them. We simply cannot guarantee because it gets darker earlier at some times of the year.

We ask that all guests check in to our booth 45 minutes prior to tour departure time. We begin boarding our tours 15 minutes prior to departure and always leave on time. We cannot wait for anyone who isn't there by departure time.

Enjoyed relaxing atmosphere and friendly crew. Highly recommend this trip. Crew showed concern for environment and marine life which is both very important to me

The boat crew were very engaging and the sunset views were breathtaking. We purchased the unlimited beer package and the beer was readily available.

Checking-in 45 minutes in advance isn’t necessary, especially in the heat with no shade. There was a smoker on board, which is against the rules. We said something to an employee and he did take care of it, which is appreciated, but not sure why we had to say something first? The smell was obvious and I’d be surprised if the employee didn’t know. Not too much info on the trip, not even pointing out the basics like the aquarium, just bad jokes. A little boring. The worst though, was the music playlist. The songs were very inappropriate! Many of the songs had the “F” word and/or talk about sex. There were kids on board. Even if there weren’t kids, it’s not appropriate for a public setting. Listen to that music at home or in your car, if you choose, but not when you are representing your company to the public. We were disappointed.

As stated in our check in policy, once you are checked in you are welcome to check out the area or seek shade until the actual boarding time. We do unfortunately get people who don't follow the rules on things such as smoking but I am glad you alerted the crew and that is was handled. We have many playlists on board so we will review them based on your feedback and make sure all of them are appropriate for a nice family outting. While we do commentary on the sunset tour, we try to keep it to a minimum as most guests just want a relaxing ride around the Clearwater area. We do more commentary and sightseeing on our regular dolphin daytime tours.
