Sunset Cruise from Clearwater

Overview
Our Sunset Celebration Cruise lasts approximately two hours and will take you from Clearwater Bay through Clearwater Pass to the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. Sail the beautiful waters of the Gulf of Mexico as you view a breathtaking Florida sunset and — if you’re lucky you may witness the legendary green flash. Your crew will point out some interesting facts about the natural wonders of the Gulf Coast as well as popular sights along the way. We are pleased to include a Complimentary Sunset Champagne Toast for all guests 21 and up.

While we do not guarantee dolphin sightings on our Sunset Cruise we often see them. We simply cannot guarantee because it gets darker earlier at some times of the year.

We ask that all guests check in to our booth 45 minutes prior to tour departure time. We begin boarding our tours 15 minutes prior to departure and always leave on time. We cannot wait for anyone who isn't there by departure time.

We booked the sunset cruise and were lucky enough to have a great sunset that evening. The added extra bonus was the appearance of 4 dolphins along side the boat. It was a beautiful cruise both in and out of the harbor. Originally we had planned to take the cruise a week earlier. I called the operator to confirm and was told that the boat would be out of the water for it's annual maintenance. The woman I spoke with couldn't have been nicer. She told me to rebook through Viator when the email arrived from them regarding the cancellation. I did and confirmed with the operator. Again, they couldn't have been nicer. Even telling me where we could park and when to arrive. The boat does have a tropical theme to it so if you can't look past that, then this isn't the cruise for you.

Booked a tour on the Sunset Cruise. Bought the $10 unlimited drink wristband and got onboard. First drink we tried was the rum punch but thought it tasted to much like Hawaiian punch, so we switched to the wine. Waited at the bar while the captain had his back to us (of course he was navigating the boat, understood), We saw the 2 staffers/bartenders outside on the front deck of the boat, they looked at us but did not come inside to service us, I thought maybe they could not see inside the windows, but later realized that was not the case as I could see in very well when I went out there. The serving of wine I was served was little more than 2 shots worth, granted it is unlimited, but who wants to get in line 3 or 4 times to get the equivalent of 1 glass of wine, that is ridiculous, not to mention a waste of plastic cups. The music was loud, but not to loud. It was very apparent that the music choice was not geared to the passengers but to the tastes of the 3 staff members. On the way back to Clearwater we sat inside and were surprised to see that the captain was reading a book and texting while navigating while the other 2 staffers were texting or playing with their phones instead of attending the passengers. I was not impressed with this tour, although the views were very nice. I felt that we were nickel and dimed from the start with the $10 drink wristband (although we did not have to purchase it), to the continued announcement that the staff works for tips.......Giving it 3 stars because the views were nice....................
