Sunset Cruise from Clearwater

Overview

Our Sunset Celebration Cruise lasts approximately two hours and will take you from Clearwater Bay through Clearwater Pass to the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. Sail the beautiful waters of the Gulf of Mexico as you view a breathtaking Florida sunset and — if you’re lucky you may witness the legendary green flash. Your crew will point out some interesting facts about the natural wonders of the Gulf Coast as well as popular sights along the way. We are pleased to include a Complimentary Sunset Champagne Toast for all guests 21 and up.

While we do not guarantee dolphin sightings on our Sunset Cruise we often see them. We simply cannot guarantee because it gets darker earlier at some times of the year.

We ask that all guests check in to our booth 45 minutes prior to tour departure time. We begin boarding our tours 15 minutes prior to departure and always leave on time. We cannot wait for anyone who isn't there by departure time.

It is my wife's birthday weekend and she wanted to do a Sunset Cruise, We had eaten at "Sheppards" many times, and we've watched various ships rush out to catch the last remaining rays of the day, and we would say that someday we'll take that Sunset Cruise. Well that someday arrived. We got the tickets thru "Groupon", then paid for the 4 hour parking permit, taxes, then got on the boat. We had a nice time, but we would suggest that they get a better PA system. Although you could hear it, sometimes it was not understandable. Sorta like the PA in the NYC Subway trains. We did catch some of what was being said, but it left us wondering. The ride was smooth and the scenery was wonderful, and we really enjoyed the Sunset. We saw a few Dolphins, and passed some beautiful boats. It was a great way to celebrate my wife's 81 st Birthday. The only bummer to the whole event was the parking ticket we received when we got back to out car. I would suggest to anyone who wanted a good time, take this cruise, but buy the parking permit, and put it somewhere on your windshield, so the BLIND Clearwater Meter Person can see it.

Did you contact the City of Clearwater Parking Department to let them know it was a mistake? I will bring your comments about our PA system up to our Operations Manager. We were in Clearwater for the weekend, bought these tick on Groupon special. Let me tell you, we had a blast. The crew was awesome, weather was fabulous, and there were dolphins all over our ship. The dolphins gave us a show we will never forget. Keep in mind you may not have our same luck. The sunset was amazing and for us, we had a incredible cruise.

Great trip, awesome crew! Only thing that could have been better is if we were informed about parking, before we parked. There is designated parking for marine tours and the price is better than the parking garage. Over all definitely worth the trip, Clearwater is a beautiful beach!
