Sunset Cruise over the Gulf of Mexico

Overview

Easy to find location with great drinks and rooftop bar while you wait. We can accommodate parties of 6 or less on single tickets. Parties of 6 or more are required to call us before booking. Depart from Cambria Hotel docks. Cruise through upscale neighborhoods, see famous houses, landmarks, and extraordinary wildlife. Our cruise will be partly narrated by the captain. Followed by a beautiful sunset on the Gulf of Mexico. If weather permits, we cruise the beach taking in the beautiful afterglow. Dolphins are wild animals however we see them most of the time. Don't leave the beach to take a less elegant cruise. Bring your own drinks alcohol is permitted aboard. We supply water, cooler, and ice.

Sunset cruise was canceled 1 hour before the appointed time. We had already left our hotel in Clearwater beach to drive the 30 min to the pier. We had stopped at a restaurant for dinner on the way. The call came while we were at dinner. The captain said there was a problem with the boat. I was offered a refund or reschedule at a later date; we opted for the refund and have received notification that it is on the way. We appreciate that. What bothers me about this situation is that if we had to cancel 2 hours before the trip we wouldn’t have been refunded, we would have lost our money. I think the vendor and/or Viator should compensate me for the loss of time, gas, etc because of the cancellation. Perhaps a voucher for future use on viator is appropriate.

We issued a full refund. When you purchased tickets you agreed to our cancellation policy and we may cancel the reservation if the minimum requirement wasn’t met. You were offered a refund, rebook, or to purchase the minimum number of tickets required to depart. We have several of these boats. On a mechanical failure we simply switch to a different boat. Yet another entitled person who thinks they should compensated for their inconvenience. We canceled an hour before the tour when ticket sales are cut off. Sorry we do not have a crystal ball on sales.

Captain Chris was a pleasure to ride with and answered all our questions about the gulf, the waterways, the animals, etc.. We had a great time and recommend him.

The experience was exactly what you want in a sunset CRUISE. Slow ride with a great captain and great music and views! Highly recommend!!!
