Break away from the typical harbor boat tour and take a quiet, relaxing, and delightful cruise of Newport Harbor and Narragansett Bay's East Passage aboard a traditionally restored 50-foot lobster boat. Watch the sun set in a comfortably cushioned and shaded deck, or from the top 'sunny side' deck. The guides, many of whom grew up on these waters, are enthused to share the legends and rich history of their home port. On every cruise, there's something special and complimentary from the galley that is representative of Rhode Island cuisine and culture. Guests on board discover the true flavor of The Ocean State, all compliments of the Captain. Sunset cruisers will enjoy a quahog "stuffie" and champagne to toast their relaxing evening on the water. Fantastic experience! Had booked a large group for a bachelorette event and they were great at communication leading up for planning and reminders. They also gave a shoutout for her during the toast and the staff were all around great! Was happy we had sweatshirts and definitely recommend blankets! They didn't allow tall heels for safety reasons, which I had missed in my research but they were cool with us going barefoot or provided flip flops at no cost if we preferred! Also I was a little hesitant about trying the baked clams but they were actually pretty good! Seating preference is first come though, so if you're with a big group and want to sit all together I'd recommend getting there early.

Smooth sailing! The sunset was stellar, champagne was delicious and our tour guide Patrick with the best sense of humor engaged us with great, random facts/ history of Newport. I mostly appreciated his chucks designed with Disney characters. Over all a great experience. Most people were indulgent with libations. I recommend up two drinks for this tour. It’s worth being moderately sober to enjoy the tour guide ;)
