I'd recommend booking at least one sunset cruise when you're in the Newport area. Maybe even a couple if you want to guarantee a good sunset. We actually had a cloudy day, but enjoyed the ride. About 10 minutes before we were set to head back to dock, the clouds parted and we got a stunning sunset. So, always keep hope!

We found this tour on Trip Advisor. Am so glad we did! We took the sunset tour. It was wonderful! The narrator was entertaining, the hostess was helpful and filled drink orders promptly. Pilot did a great job navigating the harbor. Well worth the price! It was a great way to see the harbor and some of the large homes in the area. Very relaxing and enjoyable!

My husband and I enjoyed the tour very much. The tour guide and crew were exceptional and professional. Oh well, not their fault that it was foggy, cold and overcast. The tour guide was not only knowledgeable of the Newport sights and history, but he made us laugh. The cocktails were also very good!
