We had 3 tickets to the evening tour last night but did not go. The girl at the front desk was rude. Told us there will be no bathrooms on board so we needed to find a bathroom prior. It’s not the easiest to find a public restroom when you are a tourist. You can’t have a cash bar and not a restroom facility. It’s a commercial boat and I was told that my shoes could not be worn. As a boater, I am quite aware of the appropriate footwear. We should have been told that only flip flops are allowed. We are very disappointed in the poor communication of rules that should have been communicated prior.

Hello. We do not allow high heeled or wedged shoes onboard the boat and offer a new pair of flip flops to anyone who might need them. This is a policy that never seems to be an issue with our guests. We do indeed have a restroom onboard however we ask that guests use the shore facilities prior to boarding as there is only 1 on board for all 49 passengers. As a boater yourself I'm sure you understand. In addition, it has been noted that some of your party seemed quite intoxicated on this day and even stated so over the phone prior to arrival. Upon arrival your party used profane language around the rest of our guests, acted in an aggressive manner and refused to wait in line to be helped. Your party made our booth staff feel unsafe and uncomfortable. It is our prerogative to refuse intoxicated or unruly guests, however your party decided to give their tickets away on their own accord. If you have any questions or would like to discuss further please reach out to us via phone and ask to speak with the management. Thank you.

The sunset cruise was a great activity for us, just in town for the night. The views were spectacular and the narrator (Ariana) did an excellent job. Very knowledgeable and fun! Highly recommend if your in the area on vacation!

We've been on the Gunsett boat 3 or 4 times over the last 10 years. Storytelling and local historical facts used to be more entertaining and informative. Maybe it was the last tour on a Sunday evening and the crew members were tired. Stuffed quahogs were served a bit undercooked. Gratuity fee was charged automatically at booking, before the trip, and then they have a boot for tips after the trip again, which seems excessive. Scenery is beautiful, and it is a wonderful experience, but Gunsett cruise should try harder in the service department.

Some people opt to tip the crew cash upon the day of the cruise. I apologize that your stuffie was not to temperature and I want to let you know that our stuffies are fully cooked through prior to reheating. We at Gansett Cruises strives to be the best at what we do and are always revisiting our performance, that being said we do appreciate you letting us know your experience so that we can strive for better.
